In 2022 and 2023, I threw a point & shoot film camera around my neck nearly every time I left my house. I wanted to document my friends, family, and surroundings. At the end of each month I got the photos developed and narrowed them down to my favorite images, printed those images on 4x6 paper, and tucked them into an album. The majority of the selected photos (about 480) lie in two separate physical albums that will outlive me and give my family & my future kids context to my life in these “young years.” I decided to share one image from each month here. They’re imperfect, mundane, and meaningful to me for the practice they provided and for the reminder that life moves quickly. Thanks for checking them out <3
